OUR CORE OBJECTIVES
OUR MISSION
Accessible Healthcare for All
At Hamza Foundation, we are driven by a mission to ensure that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, has access to high-quality healthcare. Our primary goal is to eliminate the economic obstacles that prevent individuals from receiving the medical care they need. We provide these services completely free of charge because it is our mission to serve those in need. By offering free medical checkups, basic health services, and other vital healthcare programs, we strive to create a healthier and more inclusive community. Our commitment to accessibility extends to every corner of our service area, ensuring comprehensive healthcare for all, especially the deserving.
Quality Medical Services
Hamza Foundation’s primary initiative in the healthcare sector was the establishment of Hamza Welfare Hospital. Here, qualified doctors provide free treatment and medication in the outpatient department (OPD). An ambulance was acquired for the hospital, which serves as a mobile medical unit and is used for emergency duties. Medical facilities are provided to students in Rawalpindi and Islamabad religious schools, and full-time doctors are appointed in large religious schools, offering free doctor consultations and medication.
Emergency Response
Providing prompt and efficient emergency response is a cornerstone of our mission at Hamza Foundation. Our 24/7 emergency services and free ambulance service ensure that critical medical care is always available to those who need it most. Our emergency team is equipped with advanced life support systems and trained medical personnel ready to respond at a moment’s notice. Whether it’s a medical emergency in urban centers or remote areas, our services are designed to reach those in need swiftly and effectively. We prioritize immediate and appropriate care to stabilize patients and improve their chances of recovery, all provided at no cost because it is our mission to save lives.
Free Medications and Treatments
To alleviate the financial burden on our patients, Hamza Foundation provides essential medications and treatments at no cost. This initiative supports our mission to ensure that deserving patients receive the necessary drugs and follow their treatment plans without worrying about the cost. Our free medication program is crucial for chronic disease management and long-term care. By removing the financial barriers to essential medicines, we contribute to better health outcomes and overall well-being, upholding our mission to serve health and spread hope.
Community Outreach and Education
Health education and preventive care are integral to our mission at Hamza Foundation. We conduct health camps, workshops, and seminars in rural and underserved areas to educate the community about health issues and promote healthier lifestyles. These programs are offered free of charge because it is our mission to empower and uplift deserving individuals. Our outreach initiatives emphasize preventive measures, early detection of diseases, and promoting healthy habits. By providing valuable health information and resources, we help individuals take control of their health and make informed decisions about their well-being, adhering to our mission of community wellness.
Disaster Relief Efforts
Hamza Foundation also plays its part in responding to natural disasters, providing necessary relief. After the 2004 earthquake, we supplied food, clothing, and shelter to affected families and established a field hospital in the temporary tent city in H-11, Islamabad, treating thousands of patients for free. During the floods, a dispensary was set up in the flood-affected areas of Rajanpur, providing free medical treatment to the affected population.
Supporting Major Surgeries
Some patients at Hamza Hospital require surgical procedures, which we currently do not have the facilities for. The trustees of Hamza Foundation take responsibility for all expenses of such underprivileged patients who cannot afford surgery costs.
Addressing Healthcare Needs in Rural Areas
In the rural areas surrounding Rawalpindi and Islamabad, basic healthcare facilities are lacking. Due to the absence of qualified doctors, unqualified practitioners often jeopardize patients’ lives. They use steroids and substandard medications for quick fixes, leading to further health complications. To address this issue, Hamza Welfare Hospital organizes free medical camps in rural areas with both MBBS and specialist doctors, providing free medication.
